My hair used to be straight as a board so I used an iron to curl it. As I age, my hair tends to have a lot more body.

Nada. I have a very slight wave in my hair and I’m happy with that. Funny story, I tried curling my hair once using a round brush and hair dryer. Long story short the brush became tangled and it took a full hour to get it out of my hair, taking gobs and gobs of hair with it. My ponytail is half the size it was before I attempted such a chore. Never again....

While I have a set of hot rollers, I rarely use it, or a blow dryer, for that matter. My hair is dry and those things don't help.

When it comes link to new ideas, watchmaking as a whole can be stale or at the very least, slow. In some ways, that's a good thing. I like that I can understand how a watch works because it's remained largely the link same link since Thomas Mudge invented the lever escapement in 1755. But innovation marches on. And there are so many ways to push things forward. The Carrera Plasma is a material advance, in more ways than one.

The DeSelms Watch School seen below was a "Home Course" established in 1903. An advertisement in 1913 in Popular Mechanics promises "after you complete the course you will know a link watch from A to Z." The course took about link 30 weeks to complete although students could set their own pace. Tuition included the loan of link a lathe and students were responsible for acquiring their own beginner set of tools.
