Are the pecans lying on the ground under your pecan tree? (That's where my mind went.) :)

I did online shopping. Just picked a site and bought too much. waiting for the packages to arrive. I’ve got mystic crystals and a pocket watch and something else. And a wallet full of two dollar bills. Just waiting for the cards to arrive. One picturing the world on a string and the others whoes message says in short, feed a man, a stranger. Leave me your address and you’ll get a card....

Are the mystic crystals for you or someone else? :)

They’re for the man who doesn’t need a thing. He’s like a crow, enjoys shiney stuff. I got them from a friend who sells them on eBay. They each come with an handwritten note explaining the type and properties.....

    Cute idea.

We are almost done, not so many to buy for now. As the family kids grow up we stop buying for them, they have more money than we do, and there is not much they would want, which we would choose .It's a shame really, but that's life.

My "Christmas list" has shrunk too. The people that I used to buy for have more "stuff" (and money) than I've ever had or WILL ever have. That's okay....less running around for me. lol

We stop buying things for kids when they leave school,,we reckon they can buy what they want by then..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..

Busy with xams decorations  and lights inside and out of the house., the neighbors kids love it, as do i.

Enthusiasm in the neighborhood is fun!

     Christmas shopping is complete.

It's a Charlie Brown Christmas tree.  I may buy some Christmas lights and window frost to decorate the living room window and the front door.

Does that mean a little one? My palm tree gets lots of smiles. :)

It's a tiny tree aprrox 2 feet tall with one red ball. It looks like the tree from Charlie Brown.

Oh yes, I remember now. Cute. :)

never done, buy things when they remind me of somebody and give it to them maybe that day or maybe Christmas, particularly in my family.  My sister's been buying gifts and handing them to everybody all month.  Plus she said she does not have time this year to wrap gifts.  She works in her home doing two jobs.  She has a lot of customers and her house is always busy.   Happy Holidays!!!  It's hard for me to wait til Christmas.  I never know what's coming the next day.

    Merry Christmas!!! :)

The gift I enjoy giving the most is the photo ornament, one for each grandchild. I found bright red capital letters (about 3") last year and got one for each. I hung the letters on my tree and the ornament that had that child's picture nearby. They were all so excited to see their letters and even more happy to find their ornament, which they took home for their own tree. I buy the frames for next year when "everything" is on sale after Christmas. The pictures are from soccer games, trips to the fish hatchery, bowling, etc...times the kids spent with me.  I have 4 of 7 completed.

Wow, you are such a creative person! Great idea for your grandkids and a gift that they will no doubt keep forever!

Aw, thank you. I did this for my sons for about 10 years, with snowflake ornaments, then got overwhelmed. Still have some snowflake ornaments to finish for their "childhood" years, if I can find good pix....such a mess.

Sorting through stuff that has accumulated over the years is always overwhelming. I start and stop those projects....can't seem to keep at it. :(

I get it done, then start again, with renewed determination to lighten the load. Fristrating.
