I know they mean well, but it's an invasion of one's privacy for others to see incriminating mail from the IRS or your probation officer.......or if you're buying stocks and mutual funds, and you don't want to share that info with your friends,. No, I don't fall under these categories, but it's an example. Don't you think your friends or family members should leave your mail alone ?

It's kind of a strange gesture I think but I couldn't care less, unless they've opened it for me. The outside of an envelope doesn't indicate a thing. It could be an advertisement from a bank, a mass mailing or a neighborhood promotion for all they know. Anyway, nothing weird or horribly private ever arrives in my mail box.

I wouldn't have a problem with that, as long as they just handed it straight to me, and didn't look at it. Most of us don't have mail boxes here in the UK , we have a letter box, and the post just drops onto the doormat inside. If I was entering the doorway and there was post on the mat, I would probably pick it up and hand it to whoevers house it was, but I would definitely not look at the envelope, just hand it to them.

Finally the Richard Lange Minute Repeater has a beautiful white enamel dial link crafted in-house from a solid-gold base. Typically for the Richard Lange collection the link new Minute Repeater features link elongated Roman numerals burned to the surface of the enamel dial with slender thermally blued hands stretching out on top. Riffing off early 20th-century pocket watches produced by the original A. Lange amp Söhne company the minute track is executed in traditional railway fashion.
