Do you think public citizens are right to march when they don't agree with government policy, like the health bill the senate has been working on?

Of course they, I, have the right to protest. It's in the bill of rights for cry yi yi! Do we think we can change things? I certainly hope we can. Without medical coverage, I'm dead. Literally. Protesting can bring to light ideas unconsidered, rights that have been overlooked, can let off steam. And isn't it apparent steam needs to be released? I'm opening a can of worms here but how has the protests hurt anybody else who just sit and accept? How else can we bring to light injustices? As we see them.....

Free speech at UC Berkeley along with pyromania, caused cancellation of a conservative speaker's appearance. When protesters intimidate the right to another's right to the same, there is nothing positive in THAT kind of protest.

Are you referring to Milo Yiannopolis Bobette? ---The fellow from Breitbart news?

    No, Anne Coulter.

I will look that up :)

Public health care for billions of USA citizens really needs to be analyzed !  Our political system here is badly damaged!   Let's do all we can to assure coverage for all Americans!

    Aman!!!

    ....yes

....and involve maturity, responsibility and obey the laws

Everybody has the right to protest something that they do not agree with.however we do live in a democracy where majority rule, and way to often it is the minority with rent a crowd that want something  and do not care how they get it,some of them are violent and hold the rest of the public to ransom for something they they want.if they are peaceful and do not interrupt the rest of the public,,go for it.>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..

Yes, as long as they're peaceful.

I think it's okay to protest when people don't agree with some important issue. I also think that some who protest don't have a clue what the issue even involves, let alone how to make things better. (Just listen to the comments that come out of the protestors mouths sometimes....senseless drivel.) When they start smashing in windows of businesses and setting police cars on fire, it's time to say "That's enough now" and put them in jail for a while.....with a book on economics, business management, or political science.   :)

We have the right to assemble and protest that which is disagreeable to us. We do NOT have the right to riot, plunder, pillage, and be combative against law enforcement.

Healthcare is important, and everyone should have coverage, but my tax dollars should not be used for other's healthcare, particularly illegal residents.

I agree with cuts to Medi-Caid (Medi-Cal here) because (1) the cost of health care will be less when Obama care is gone, (2) insurance companies will lower their costs if policies can be from out of state providers, (3) citizens are working because there are more jobs. There will be fewer who need public assistance, which should be the GOAL for government and individuals.

You vote, you pay taxes, you have a voice.

Every single person with a government  job works for you.
