I can find the bathroom, desribe my clothing, ask where something is (or someone), and order in a Mexican restaurant. I get by. I CAN eavesdrop......

If you call speaking Spanish taking one year of it in H.S., then yes, I hablar Espanol, un poco . And BTW, I did go to El Salvador in 1977 and got by there.
