Question about Google Maps.....

I use Google Maps a lot, and I know they blur license plates and peoples faces when showing "street view", but today while checking out an area where we we going to a funeral mass, I saw where they totally blurred a house. Being curious, I drove past it and didn't see anything strange about it. Anyone know why they would do this?,+NY/@43.1928747,-77.8052785,3a,90y,323.46h,92.23t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s78Th9AD20jMhiARgNYS4nw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!4m5!3m4!1s0x89d3126152dfe5a1:0x982304a5181f8171!8m2!3d42.8860271!4d-78.8790894!6m1!1e1?hl=en

Some people do not want their house shown on Google Maps for privacy reasons.

Very interesting! I have used Google Maps and Mapquest for years because I go to people's homes to pick up packages in my shipping business and find that knowing the layout of the drive, porch, garage, etc. often alerts me to any difficulties I may have with the heavy boxes. This is the first time I have seen a house blurred out.

It's the first time I have seen a house blurred out too, and I use Google Maps every week, I was on it earlier today. I think it does more good than harm, at least I hope.

How strange ... one year when I looked at our place on streetview I saw me standing on the lawn yelling with my hands in the air and my cats were chasing a tiny Fox terrier down our street ... hilarious!!
[I remember that day so funny]
