    What to do with old eyeglasses?

    Anyone know of a charity that might accept old eyeglasses?

    Had to have my glasses repaired so I asked them, they being EYEMART, a U.S. wide business. They send received glasses to a company that reworks them to donate to people who cannot get their own.....

            We donate the old ones when we buy new ones at our optometrist's office.  The glasses go to people in need in third world countries.

                  I've heard of a charity that takes them in got needy people  (and almost blind in my case). I've got umpteen pairs I need to do something with. Ilk follow your question and see it anybody offers a tangible solution......

                    HEB used to have a box next to the Pharmacy to collect used glasses. Check with your local HEB.
