....is this a reason so few are on this site ?

For our own amusement and because this link is what we do for a living we recently made a list of every important watch nickname in existence we stopped at 60 though we could have kept going. Then we debated and ranked our favorites based on each name's originality how well it captures the spirit of the watch and how widely used it's link become. link And now we bring our dozen favorites to you.

Anne-Laure's link love of watchmaking comes from pushing boundaries and realizing the potential of haute horology as a craft and as an art. For Michel it comes from restoration his roots in the industry. He looks at the old timepieces and studies them noting the old techniques that went link into their creation. He believes we've lost a fair amount of historical knowledge in watchmaking and that education and looking link to the past is so important.
