I've been to a few but never got involved. It is fun to watch people try to outbid one another. Also, there is a lot of really interesting stuff to rummage through.

But the dial is the real star, just link like most market exclusives. But instead of tossing around $10,000 or more for a Bulargi or Cartier for your Hindu-Arabic numerals, here you get link a tremendous tropical dial for a fraction of the price. While it's not quite as link cool as the baked Nivada Grenchen faux-tropical dials, the choice of a warm dial gradient color instead of a baked dial is probably more stable and longer-lasting.
