          He did, Roy, and yes, we're in Virginia. His AIT is here for 12 weeks. Been posting pix on my phone Facebook account.

          Advanced Individual Training
          He is going to work as a mechanic in the motor pool. The recruiter talked him out of gun repair. His enlistment is 3 1/2 years. Halfway through, he can pick a new AIT. He expressed interest in medical, because he likes to help people. He and his buddies have a lot of stories already.
          I just want them to be safe.

                              The Disco Volante at link Hindman is more of an average link result but the multiple bidders do indicate strong interest for the reference. Perhaps it's part of the whole "people like smaller link dressier design-driven watches now" that's spawned a million think pieces and even more Hodinkee Radio conversations.
