      I always heard it as: Feed a cold, starve a fever..... Doing a google search, I find it both ways. Now I'm confused...

          They taught us in nursing school that it's alway feed, feed, feed. Never starve yourself. Think nutrition. And sooth with warmed (ok, hot) chicken soup with loads and loads of garlic........

            A nice warm soup is a good start,,i would suggest a cup of warm Vegemite drink,,but never to an American..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..

                I've always heard 'starve a cold, feed a fever' as well. I think it's an excuse to eat everything in the house. Go for it!
