      You have to scan whatever you're scanning somewhere, whether it be to your laptop or desktop.

          Hey Hec,once you have loaded the drivers from you printer to computer,you can scan manually from printer or from a shortcut icon on your screen,,however i reckon that sounds a bit confusing..maybe this bloke on youtube can help you..all the best mate..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBSIbRTty1g
