Skirt man!
In my ultimate kitchen, which is a process that is slowly moving forward, I have asked (pretty much demanded) that it has two dishwashers.
We have a lot of people over and I would like to throw the dishes out of the window except, I then will have to clean up the back yard... which is very big.

That would be a pain if I actually had closets. My house is 105 years old. Apparently no one owned anything to put away 105 years ago.

I use Windex on everything. It is the most non-environmentally sound thing I do in this lifetime but, it makes my life so much easier on so many levels. Windex is the only clean to buy other than those Lysol wipe thingies when I am really stuck for time.
