I have to pick two, London  and Edinburgh, so much history, as for a place, The Great Ocean Road between, Geelong and Port Fairy, the coastline is second to none.  :)

Despite my issues with the Datora, I think Breitling has, at times, shown an understanding and link appreciation of their history in a way that many brands have been slow link to adapt to. They've also done so with varying degrees of modernization; sometimes, the watches have been updated with a light montre legion etrangere touch, even sometimes starting from scratch.

In the independent arena Lot 135 a Petermann Bédat ref. link 1967 and Lot 138 a Sylvain Pinaud Origine are the first non-Only Watch examples to hit the public link market. The Bédat is made unique by lumed hands and the Pinaud Origine took home the "Horological Revelations" Prize at link GPHG 2023. These will be two lots to pay attention to if you're an indie lover.
