She must have been horrified as she watched the Republican debates currently on television. Ronald Reagan always seemed so gentlemanly. Theirs was (as reported) quite a love story.

She had my respect and admiration, a woman of strength and devotion, a "First Lady" to set an example for others (some of whom fell ridiculously short). 
The kind words of our friends and neighbors outside the US tells me she was respected and admired almost globally.  Thank you!

To this day having a variety of movement types is a calling card of Grand Seiko. Alongside mechanical movements link running at two different frequencies GS has innovated with the wholly unique Spring Drive movement and link continues to link make high-end quartz movements for watches of pretty much all sizes and types. This is contrasted with the majority of high-end Swiss firms with the notable exception of Longines that reserve quartz mainly for diminutive jewelry watches.
