Smoking cigarettes, about 40 years ago. A few "intermissions", but never got back into the habit.

I gave up smoking 15 years ago, now I can't stand the smell of it, or anyone who smokes.

Yep, me too. No one more sensitive to smoke than us ex smokers. I never realized how awful I smelled. Eewwwww.....

I quit this. I thought I looked too sophisticated.

gave up smoking when I was 31. I smoked from the time I was 14, until  31.
