Being “on the leash” is probably why she wants out……..?

Yes my wife behaved like that, the first time I let her off the leash.

Never hurts to let them go every now and then.

You may let go of the leash but she'll always have a choke hold on you.

Dog's reaction to freedom is endearing. Supressing a human "on a leash", then "letting her/him off" would possibly result in a more unhealthy  (for the relationship) reaction.

A gold chain with a lobster claw clasp is the only chain that belongs around someone's neck (or silver, pearls, you see where this is going)
