I prefer the sea, if i had unlimited funds i would live on the QE2 for the rest of my days, no cars to drive, waited on 24 hours a day, all food and beverages at my finger tips, travelling world wide ports, not a care in the world.------ A fantasy.-- plus i love the sea. :)

No houseboats for me. I don't like the feeling of my floors and walls moving all the time. Near the water....yes....on the water (literally)....no thanks.

Houseboat sounds like a nice experience, for a short time, but I'd prefer to settle on land near the water.

For me it comes in phases. I have wanted to live in a house on the beach, a houseboat, a tree house in the forest, a cabin in the woods, a caboose, a  cottage, and a farm house or converted barn in the hill country.  I never thought I would live in Scotland.

So what's a normal guy or gal to do? When I first got into this whole scene, Submariners, both old and new, were available. GMT-Masters were plentiful link and not only link could steel be found in most display cases, but five large seemed to go a lot further than it does today. Thankfully, for those willing to look outside of the royal offerings, some strong alternatives link are available.
