          Some of these component makers are already well known. For example, Stern Freres is the most recognizable link dial maker, its work seen link in Patek, Rolex, and so many other link brands (and well documented in The Dial). But there are also casemakers like Wenger or Eggly that were just as important to the industry; bracelet makers like Gay Freres; and many others.
