      I broke all four fingers of my left hand playing softball in 1988. Both my children were in diapers, one only 3 months old! I can still tie a shoe with one hand.

        Until something happens MsBob, you find out there is a lot of things you can do with one hand. :)

        You're so right! Our high school baseball coach had one arm. He could hit a ball over the fence, and lead fielding practice impeccably. I just learned he was a great bowler, too.

          Emotional abuse and verbal abuse from my Ex-husband. I believe it's true that the pain lasts a lot longer than  pain from physical abuse because I suffered depression for almost 12 years.

              You wouldn't want to know. It would spoil your breakfast and your day. It happened when I was in the 8th grade; and I've still got PTSD from it.

                Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, terry, a new catchall malady that explains social anxiety and inexplicable anti-social behavior as a result of military service in a war zone (think Vietnam Nam). It must have been a really horrible experience for a 14 year old stateside girl to call it PTSD 50 years later.

                  Now as a matter of fact. Aside from stitches every so often, I am wearing a cast on my left arm and scabs on the left. My new kitten (who still lives) is to blame…….
