I did. I was very young and saw a religious movie (very well known movie whose title escapes me) and went home wanting to "join up". (I'm protestant and I like men.)

I asked female friends for their input (non-regulated poll) and of course the majority stated that at least in some point in their lives (usually very young and naive) they fantasized about joining up!

In my young mind, it appeared to be a quiet, peaceful existence, not to mention the kind and loving Mother Superior who was always there to help and motivate. Naïve for sure.
