looks like i must have missed something here is this site going bust ? I certainly hope not although i'm not as vocal as some members i do love and enjoy all of you .I do consider most here part of my extended family no doubt. well like most things all things must come to an end sorry to see it go..If i'm wrong about this..I MEANT  WHAT I SAID !

Are the lights about to go out they've been dim for some time now.

I will miss many here on aka. I do stay in contact with several members on this site through emails and Skype, but  there are a couple of people I don't have info for and I will be missing them when we are forced to say goodbye here on aka.

If I'm remembering correctly a couple of members have mentioned contacting the admin of aka to ask the admin to pass their email address to another member,but have not received any response.

  In the past when I wanted a member to have my email address I would look up a very old question asked by the member of whom I wanted to give my address too. I wrote my email address in the blue area/comment section of that persons old question (if there were no other comments from other members so no one else would receive a notification) and then I asked the person to please comment back to me once he/she had seen my email address so I can  go back to my comment and erase my email address.

 I know most people don't want to risk having their email address showing on a public forum for anyone to see, but being that I placed my address into an old question I doubt it was receiving very few new views if any at all during the short amount of time( sometimes only minutes) I had my address available and I've never had anyone whom I didn't know try to send an email to me due to my email address being posted on aka.  I know it's a risky, but it worked for me.

Gee, thanks for the reminder. My sleeping sense on denial is now awake again.  There are so many I'd love to stay in touch with.  Alas, death and slow at that, is so sad........
