This is bad. We don't see what led up to this, but the murder charges seem appropriate in this case, as the choice of no charges seems appropriate in the cases involving Trayvon and Michael. 

Let's understand something: this is an exception, aberration, freak occurrence. 

Let's understand something else: when news is reported emphasizing race as a motivating factor, the point is to incite racial tension and encourage civil disobedience via riots, arson, looting, and violence that results in more racial tension.

It happens. We have bad cops too. Yes, this is a bad one and he's not getting off. He's been charged with murder as he should be.

I don't know all the facts but regardless, eight shots is overkill to the max! Charles Whitman was only shot once. Once is all it takes......

I'm glad for once, they fired him and charged him with murder. This has gone on long enough. !! Don't they screen these psychos before they hire them ?

I am waiting for all the cops that were ambushed and killed in the line of duty.  Not much on that but you can go into any police station and somewhere they will have a wall of  their deceased killed in action policemen/women.   We had three die not long ago here, just walked up on the porch, knocked on the door and were shot dead where they stood.
