Taking Economics at H1  means that the syllabus coverage is two-thirds of content coverage under Economics at H2. The examination focus is also different. Economics at  H2 being the higher level, focuses more on theoretical analysis and also requires more in depth analysis.  While Economics at H1 focuses on testing students ability to apply basic theories to answer a given economic problem.  The heavier weight of case study in H1 Economics reflects these.
