This website will give you some photos of artisan salads.   I like "Greek" salads, with feta cheese, calamata olives, red onion, cherry tomatoes.  The spring mix of lettuces go well with dried cranberries, candied walnuts, chopped apples, bleu cheese.  Asian lettuce wraps could be considered "artisan salad". I don't know how "artisan" a wedge salad is (literally, a wedge of iceberg lettuce, with bacon, bleu cheese, cherry tomatoes, seasoned croutons, bleu cheese dressing), but it's one of my favorites!
