why when I recieve a Email that all the info comes a box that states "down load asa zip"

A zip file is a file compressed in ZIP format to make it smaller in size (usually to send it through email faster or to download it faster, or to make it fit on a memory stick). You'll need to use software like Winzip to unzip it or extract it. This will then result in the file you need, without the ZIP packaging.
