    Should we pay tribute to dead Saudi king?

    King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz's death has led to flags being flown at half-mast as a show of respect to this despotic man and his country which does not respect human rights. Would we show similar respect to N Korean leader Kim Jong Il?

    I personally will not but I imagine Obama will since he was one of our strongest allies in the war against Islamic terrorists, at least that's what the WH says.

      NO !  There is nothing good about the treatment of women in that country. But our president will probably kiss his hand and bow to him. I don't hear many good comments about Saudi Arabia. Maybe obama will stay there.

        I just watch the 6pm new, and Prince Charles and David Cameron have gone to Saudi Arabia to show their respect.  The Saudi are our alies,  and we need them on our side, so there is no choice really.

            I think it's very sad the USA will be represented for this "king" but we didn't do any thing about the Paris incident! Disgusting!

              He is only being recognized because he supposedly was our biggest ally in the fight against terrorism (ISIS and such).

              I dunno. We’re a country that watches British royals like they were kin, no telling how we’ll behave towards this king. I for one am sorry he died just as for anybody else but life goes  on does it not?
