It's a great experience, I went on something similar when I was at school, we visited Fingals cave which was the subject of a musical piece we were studying at the time.

I've done that in Devon and Yorkshire about thirty years ago, it was great fun , and very interesting. It's fine if you go with experts, your life in their hands so to speak.

No. I’ve been in caves on purpose (the last with Phyllis) but they were already explored and came with lights. I’d explore on a dare and with a super flashlight but not by choice……...

I went in a cave twice on an island in Lake Erie ( near Ohio ) We had to descend a steep ladder to go thru the cave. The ceiling was so low, you had to bend over. A child ( boy ) was our tour guide. He walked faster than any of us wanted to b/c the floor was uneven and we were bending over. His head did not touch the ceiling, of course. It was chilly in there, but felt good, b/c we were hot and sweaty from being on the surface where it was a hot , humid summer day. There were bats in there.

Yep most definitely,,,i reckon that would be a great trip,,i done a trip through the Jenolan Caves in New South Wales quite a few years back now,and i still remember it,i reckon Smoo Cave would give me that same exhilaration..
