When they're retired , they don't have to do anything. What are " clock hours " ?

I think they are to get a pension. My dad drove school bus back in the 40's Then went to work for John Deere, He had a really bad stroke in the early 70's and to get his pension after that he had to go back to work for the school system, He was a janitor for 2 1/2 years to get it. It wasn't much but it was better than nothing
