                Narwhals are mammals so don't have fins. Another way of ending your life with one could be to jump off an iceberg and hope to become impaled on its horn which is in fact a grossly elongated upper left canine tooth.

                OK, narwhals do have tail fins as do other aquatic mammals such as whales, and dolphins. The tail fin is horizontal as they are air breathers and have to surface to breathe. Fish get their oxygen from the water so have vertical fins as they don't need to surface.
