Put the cursor on your picture in the upper right hand corner and check how many votes you have left. Try giving some TUs, then check to see if the number has decreased.

It's hard to know if your vote is registered, for me anyway, because the color barely changes on the thumb. Another vastly improved feature of akaQA.
