I think you might be a young reader and would recommend books by Lynn Reid Banks, Roald Dahl, Beverly Cleary, for starters. Your teacher should have a recommended reading list for your grade level, or you can go to your school district office and request the complete K-12 list.
I have a collection of illustrated classics, which I bought at bookstores through the years. They are timeless books written by memorable authors, written simply enough for a fourth grader to enjoy as well as an adult.
