If I put diluted vinegar on my cat, will the fleas fall off ? How about straight vinegar. Will it harm my cat ?

This website should give you some good advice and a variety of home remedies.  Note, it first says that vinegar can be apply directly, but doesn't kill fleas on contact.

I have given my cat an actual flea-soap bath.  She's pretty mellow, fortunately.

Thank you, PKB. That pic reminds me of what my white cat did when I tried to put her in the laundry tub to bathe her. There wasn't even any water in it yet. Ha Ha.

Vinegar can be applied straight but make sure first that your cat has no scratches on him (her) first. Cider vinegar is good for deterring ants but I doubt it would work on fleas. Flea powder is cheaper and more effective……...

Have you tried apple cider vinegar ? So many health benefits for humans and pets too.
