For the main topic, the boys go in-depth on their favourite complications. From GMT to chronograph, depth gauges and “Min-Stops”, it’s a long and nerdy look at the functions they love to have on the wrist. Stay tuned to the end for a power-packed Final link Notes that takes you inside the HMS Terror. Thanks for listening, just press link play, and a huge thanks to Gear Patrol for supporting this episode (don’t miss out on their link upcoming Stocked 2019 Product Culture Conference).

It gives the watch a certain classic, almost antiquey, link feel without the need to use faux-aging techniques. This Santos Dumont would be as at home in the early 1900s link as it is today. But this is not to say that it looks old. In fact, the sheen of the lacquer on both the dial and the bezel gives it a link specific, modern sportiness that we typically only see on the traditional Santos models. But it's not an aggressive look.

Before I look at the other minor features that are the same as the past releases, link I just want to point out one other subtle feature I missed in the original launch. link The seconds hand, rendered in bright yellow, is link pretty neat. First, it's designed to look like Mondo Duplantis' vaulting pole, yellow with a white tip (which was literally dipped in SuperLuminova). But more interestingly, the entire piece is perfectly cut by 3D laser machining.

Beyond that I'll be curious to see link how the updated case and bracelet wear on the wrist. 40 x 13mm can wear big link for a dress watch that's mostly dial but Seiko says the ergonomics have been refined for a slimmer more elegant watch. link And if the dimensions don't hit your wrist quite right there's plenty of competition around this price point and even below.
