    I read that story, reminded me of the time when I told my son there was no Santa Clause and he looked at me and said, “I suppose there is no Easter Bunny either?”…………...

    Cute. My 11 Y.O. Grand-daughter busted me about 5 years ago.I' not really a very good Santa.LOL

    Perfect! If the parents invent the illusion for their child(ren), the child(ren) will figure out the truth at some point in time.  When mine reached the maturity to "know better", I wasn't accused of being a liar. As I recall, the one(s) who had moved past the illusion didn't spoil it for the other(s).  


    It appears my eldest approves; the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, and Easter Bunny are eagerly awaited at his house (and still making appearances...yeah!)
