if you go straight up from the last "s" in shows, there's the brightest spot. It's where Pyongyang, the capital, is. The "elite" live there. Contrast that with South Korea, which rises from the bottom right hand corner.

I don't like any lights on during the night. I sleep in a dark bedroom with lined curtains so no light shines through the bedroom window.

I don't like bright lights at night when I'm watching TV or chilaxing in the living room. A lamp is plenty of light for me.

I don't think you'd have any choice if you lived in North Korea. You couldn't have lights even if you wanted to. Dumb leadership!

Completely dark at night. Sleeping in a country setting, far from city lights would be my preference, so maybe I should move to North Korea?

QUIET is more important than dark/light. There is a small light on the floor strip where my phone plugs in to recharge, one in the bathroom, and one in the kitchen. I don't want to trip over the dog (hardly likely, since he sleeps on the couch every chance he gets).
