    Dear terrilfossil,

I haven't talked to you for a long long time and I just happened upon your post.

I can appreciate how well you are doing. It seems your doctors did a good job. I am happy for you.

I have been rejected for surgery because my injury is too high on my spine ... C5 (or something) It's too close to my uh, brain. I am doing ok usually. Methadone helps a lot.

Thanks itsmee,,sorry to hear about yours,i can understand some of what you are going through,my problem was at the 3 discs at the base of the spine, oppisite end of the spine to you,,however if yours is at C5,,is that not at the base of the cervical spine as the cervical spine runs from C1 to C7..not knowing excatly what your damage is,i do not wish to say the wrong thing to you..but sometimes a second opinoun is a God send,,i really do wish you all the very best, and i do understand pain can be a bitch.....

Glad to see you're back,Susan. Come back more often !

Great news, Terry!  You've mentioned your health concerns and it is wonderful that doctors were able to actually DO something for you.  Wishing you a complete and speedy recovery!  You are in my prayers!   PKB

Hi Terry,  I wondered why we haven't heard from you for awhile. Glad your surg went well, and that it helps. Welcome back . Don't do anything too strenuous, now.

And, Susan , Welcome back !!  Wish you would come back and visit more often.

Terry,  Sounds like there's more  plusses than minuses in your surgery . Hang in there regarding your little residual pain.  We missed you and we're glad you're back

I wish you well Terry - how major is this wow!!! Well done you extremely brave to let a knife go into your back - seems like a good surgeon. I have been out of touch so do not know what your diagnosis was with regard to the back that is. I will not mention my back have done so before. I wish you a speedy recovery and hope your pain lessens. Do not worry about the hot and cold - I get this - it's called the menopause - but watch your body temperature for fear of infection - all the very best to you.
