Mark 3 dials can be seen in serial numbers as low as 1xxx, but they become much more common link in the link 6xxx–7xxx range. It's possible these earlier examples with Mark 3 dials are original, but I also wonder if they were swapped or serviced at some point instead and not link original to the watch.

Outside of the normal link boundaries of sports chronographs this watch has established link itself as a true icon in the realm of horology that blends sport and dress.
