The difference between the Shark Clip and Leash is in how they're link secured. The Clip offers a literal snapping-clip system. The strap on the Leash is made from a pretty link sturdy – though not particularly comfortable link – polyester, while the Clip's strap is made from nylon. Both feature two branded patches. One patch is near the top of the case, and the other, at the bottom, signifies the model of the watch. The straps are 20mm wide in diameter.

Mark 3 dials can be seen in serial numbers as low as 1xxx, but they become much more common link in the link 6xxx–7xxx range. It's possible these earlier examples with Mark 3 dials are original, but I also wonder if they were swapped or serviced at some point instead and not link original to the watch.

Outside of the normal link boundaries of sports chronographs this watch has established link itself as a true icon in the realm of horology that blends sport and dress. It's a watch with a particular style that is decidedly and entirely its own thing.
