An anchor is used to keep a ship from moving away from the spot where it is. When something is "anchored", it is fastened securely, as opposed to being vulnerable.
For a PERSON to be anchored, my definition would be the person is comfortable, secure, and convicted in his life...Secure being the operative word in MY definition.
