          my filter was on for years, and it worked pretty well. But,now that I have FireFox, I get spam in my email. Don't know how to set up a filter on Firefox.

          Firefox is not an email client.  You using webmail or local like outlook??  I use outlook, it allows me to channel all my email addresses into one program and automatically puts these mailers in proper folders.  I set up my filters through outlook.
