Why do most of the top tennis players keep on hitting the ball into the net on serve,??Arnt they suspose to get it over the net,????????

It's a pity our football team hadn't learnt how to put the ball in the net.

You betcha the ball is supposed to go over the net! The trick is to get it over the net at an incredible speed, landing in a spot where it is difficult to return successfully. If you notice, the second serve is a lot less aggressive than the one that tore the net! A "double fault" loses the serve, I think, and one only scores when serving. (???) Or a double fault gives the opponent the point. ???
