      You are talking insurance policies, I presume?  If so, depending on the company, some require a physical exam.  For the everyday term policies of low premiums, it may not be required, and you may be able to do so.  If he has a known health problem, and you do not disclose that, the policy may not pay off upon his death.  This is known as fraud, and any excuse they have not to pay out, they will take, as would we...

        You can buy an online term plan http://buyonline.bharti-axalife.com/for your father. Bharti AXA has an epolicy which you can check out. They are offering quite a few benefits like tax deductions. You will get all details on their website.
