        uses 2 meter upto 80 meter band, not as popular as it once was, FCC license required. but that's all I know and my info is dated.  I was never a ham operator but I had an 11 meter home station at 1500 KW that was very illegal.  I never got busted but my electric bill doubled.  LOL!
