In bowling, a cherry picker is when a ball is rolled toward a two-pin spare, the pins standing right next to each other. The ball breaks (or doesn't break) at the last moment, taking out one pin and leaving the other standing. That is called cherry picking.
It is frustrating!

Why??..because taking out one at a time is cherry picking,,is that how you pick cherry's, one at a time Bob ??????
I have never been cherry picking. Reading a bit about it, it sounds like that's how it's done, one at a time.
