I have just spoken to this member who has been here, less than 2 weeks. I will suspend if it happens again. My comment to her is here...

She may have tried to TU you again and in doing so, removed the TU she already gave you. TUing a second time unvotes the answer.

Clu is not the only member to be TD'd by her. That is why she has been warned.

Unvoting is different than TDing. If she did give an actaul TD, I see she got TD'd in retaliation which is not the way to handle it but that was the way chosen. Now she's being harassed with J going to her question and making a comment to her. This should be dealt with by a moderator only not by the members.

    A moderator IS handling it.

    Mine too.

“J” dosen’t harass anybody. Just this once and I was taking up for clu. I’ll admit, I could have worded it better but it was spur of the moment. Kind up like unvoting somebody must be…..
    clu

I did not mean to start a squabble. I said unvote. This is what it was. Anyway at least it started a conversation! Happy Friday, ALL!

*Point, it was handled by a mod Julie. You all have been here long enough to know if a mod is involved, leave it alone. I'm done here. I only wanted to suggest to clu what may have happened since the person is new and new members do not realize that clicking a TU button a second time unvotes the answer. It's a mistake that was common back when we got new members. I highly doubt she will be back now after all this so job well done. She won't be unvoting anymore people.
    clu

Well I guess I will just ignore any other things that happen to me. I started a war and I concede! Sorry everyone!

You did not start a war clu. Your complaint was legitimate and those who arrive here and click away at the (useless) TD button AND/OR start UNVOTING are simply playing games. I prefer that they leave of their own choice. So, it's all good.

This young person has a habit of voting people down.

I read your question to Romos  and he said to let you know she has voted down two of his answers.

He did not complain Clu. He has sent several letters to admin in the past and they do not respond. The rule/option to vote some one down on aka has not changed, but established members of this forum have grown to respect one another's questions, answers and opinions without resorting to giving a thumbs down if we don't agree with one another. I don't think new members understand our ways to deal with this rule.

Thanks Bump.I think that's what I was trying to say.

Reply to the person and ask them why. Sometimes it’s because they accidentally hit the thumbs down button, sometimes it’s just plain meanness……...

Not one of our regulars...a child who has been here less than 2 weeks and may soon be suspended.

Good deal. Lets hunt him down and make him eat dirt…….

When I come-accross a down vote, It is almost always an error so I vote it up. It isn't necessary do anything to an about to be hit by a 404, just tag it offensive and go to a different question.

Darn shame too. She's such a cute kid.Maybe she just doesn't understand the system.

    clu

She does look cute Tommyh. However She shouldn't be too free with her unlikes!

Yeah, everybody can get away with just about anything now. I love all of you! LOL!!
    mycatsmom

"There's only 3 of us left here " ? What am I, chopped liver ?
    Tommyh

    3 AUSSIES,Julianna. :)

because she's new, she prob voted down if she didn't agree with you on some topic. That's what I thougth we were supposed to do when I was new here. Just educate her that voting down is only for someone who is abusive or obscene.

P.S.. maybe the 4 yr. old is her daughter. 27 is certainly old enough to have a 4 yr. old.
