Us nuts as you call us ,it was a hobby and a way of meeting people,go back to your Knitting classes,
hector, nuts, used in that context is a figure of speech. At least it is in America. For example, my dad was a train nut. or a model railroad train nut.That means a fan. As a matter of fact, I had a CB and loved talking on it. And in the 8th grade, had a walkie-talkie that picked up CBers b/c it had a special antenna.So, keep your suspenders on .
