    Kids say the darnedest things!

Dateline: October, 2000:  Prepping a class of 7th & 8th graders for a test in Social Etiquette, I posed the question, "When is it appropriate for you to leave a funeral service?" Justin's hand shot up first:  "Right after the bride and groom!"

    Your turn!

In the washing machine of course with Granma's knickers,

I was drying my sons hair after bathtime, I think he was 5 or 6 years old, and of course being a Dad I was a wee bit rough, he kept yelling "stop stop stop" when I didn't stop he yelled "WHAT ARE YOU? EAR BLIND?" not too bad for his age. ;)

    That is so funny!

My niece once told my sister she couldn’t do something as asked because she was “busy-ing” and the turn of phrase stuck.  Now when my hands are full I say “Can’t. I’m busying”………..

Art Linkletter had that show, Kids Say the Darnedest Things.  Mine would be when my son sent me a father's day card of a father and son sitting with backs turned.  Their shirts matched, and hairdo too, both balding.  He was making a jab at me, he was 8 at the time...
