I saw The Titanic. I was on a cruise and of all the movies they could've shown, they chose that one. DUHHH! It was a Caribbean cruise, so I didn't have too much to worry about. No icebergs!

When I was in college, reruns of Maverick came on at 11:30 P.M. I didn't miss it and especially loved the Maverick song!
I don't think we had a TV when Maverick began, either. There were so many westerns in the early days of television, it's hard to keep them all straight, but Maverick really stood out. Have a good week, Tommy...it's so nice to see a cloudy sky and know we're gonna get a little rain here!
We had heavy rain all weekend.Some areas even flooded.Long overdue & welcomed.(Not the flooding).
Of course not the flooding. Too bad we don't have better ways of collecting that extra water! It's just been overcast and breezy all day. I could use a downpour, but there is a leak at my son's house, and that is going to cost me a small fortune.

me too. i've studied clark gable also joan crawford & betty davis. them was some acting people! the funny thing about joan, she was nothing like the strong characters she played according to my research, and what i heard her say about herself. oh yes and barbara stanwyck, wow!!!

....and Cruise and Hoffman...just precious...and Slingblade was like Thornton is part cuttlefish, what a transformation!....also Downie Jr. was a genius in 'Hair"....unreal.

i love rudolfe valentino. hector, did you see the movie where an actor played him and it was his life story? critics did not like it. i loved it, because i always wondered how mr. valentino became mr. valentino. the same with clark gable. his biographies (i've seen two) are fascinating. because clark started out as such a simple soul and became 'the king' of actors, as he was referred to in hollywood & everywhere else.
