    I have just brought a lovely 2nd hand spa,should I wipe the inside with a special sealant before using it as it sat umpty in the sun for 6 months?I would be grateful for any help.

    A lot of spas/hot tubs sit empty during winter months. This could be 4-5 months out of the year depending on when the owner drains it and refills it. They are fine when used again. Just make sure the pipes are all good. If it was not properly drained and water was left in the pipes over winter, this could have caused cracks in the pipes. Make sure you give it a good scrubbing and add the proper chemicals to the water before getting into it. 

    Yes. You should clean the inside of it. I would be more concerned about peoples' germs , than it getting dirty from sitting outside. I supposed the sun could have caused small fissures, so yes, use a sealant.
