    why do flouresent lights not come in the middle of the tube but remain dark and flicker?

    I installed 4 new lights and when I turned them on the ends of the tubes lit up but the middle remained dark and flickers. I used T12 lights.

        I use to ware fluprescent socks a few years ago,it always turned the girls on,
